One-on-One Tutoring The heart of the Literacy Network of South Berkshire is our one-on-one tutoring, which is available free to anyone in Southern Berkshire over 16 and not enrolled in school. Volunteer tutors are provided with training and educational support. We then match the tutors with students based on mutually convenient times and towns as well as compatibility. Reading and GED tutor/student pairs meet twice a week for an hour; English as a Second Language pairs meet about one-and-one half hours a week. Tutors receive training, educational materials and support.
